Wedding Showers..

Tomorrow I am heading to Charlotte for an "Entertainment Shower" for these two love birds. I went to high school with Manning and met Hollie at Clemson. Never did I imagine seeing them walk into a local bar together in Spartanburg over 3 years ago.  Honestly, this world really is small. I love each of them to pieces and am so happy we have become close over the years. Their wedding is less than 2 months away and I am so excited I get to share this special day with them. Here's to the weekend!

GO TIGERS!

A couple of weeks ago I got to go down to Clemson for the first home game of the season. One of my good friends invited me to go with him because he had an extra ticket to the game.  Of course I wasn't going to turn that offer down. Did I mention we were right behind the Tigers' bench on the 2nd row up!?!

The Fleming family was also in attendance at this game. I got to see this handsome fellow, Andrew. Andrew was the first one to spot me and when he did, he went into a full sprint to give me a hug. How adorable? (His mother, my twin just 9 years older, is in the back left of this picture in that cute orange dress. His dad, Mike, is on the other side holding the baby of the family, Lauren. Please note Lauren got a new Clemson cheerleading outfit for the game.)  Of course his other 2 siblings did not want to pose for a picture. Must be the age.. or maybe because it was soo hot outside?

Can't wait for the game this weekend! I hope the Tiger's can pull off another win. I get to watch that in Charlotte with my besties.. more on that tomorrow!

Ciao!

Jumping on the Band Wagon

Well.. I have finally decided it's time to start a blog. I have been reading blogs of all kinds for a couple years now and just love following other people, some I have never even met.  I thought to myself, why don't I start a blog? So here goes nothing, the journey of an aunt..

top left to right: James 9, Merritt 7 (almost 8), Andrew 7, Abigail 6
bottom left to right: Campbell 5, Noah 5, Luke 5, and Lauren 2

It all starts with my beautiful and adorable 8 nieces and nephews. This is a recent picture I took on the 4th of July when everyone got to be together at Mimi and Pap Pap's. Trust me, this does not happen often but when it does, it is great!

As you can see, I have a lot to be thankful for and can't wait to share all these things with you!
