aMAZing

Happy Halloween!

On Sunday afternoon my family headed to Cooley Farms to try out their corn maze. This was my first experience with corn and not a bad one either. Nothing says fall like getting lost in some corn!

Pumpkin love!

This is what the maze looks like from above. Let's just say we got back to the start 3 times before we finally figured out which way to go and not keep going in circles.

Our flag holder and line leader, Abigail.

The corn were huge!

You definitely could not see above the corn.

This is taken from a bridge in the middle of the maze.

I just love this time of the year. I hope everyone has a FUN Halloween!

A Weekend of Football Victories!

Well the TIGERS pulled off another win to make it 8-0 on the season AND #5 in the BCS standings!!

This is how I had to watch the game on Saturday.. on the work computer. (Thank goodness I got it to work. I was having a panic attack when the screen came up and said I couldn't.) But hey, someone's got to work on the weekends, just wish it wasn't me all the time.

On Sunday, I was lucky enough to have the day off and go to the PANTHERS game in Charlotte! One of my good friend's works for the Panthers and invited me to come up for this game.

So when I went to pick up my parking pass and pass to get into the game, this is what I found:

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that. When I got up to the booth, I was even asked by a Redskin employee if I was there to help out. I just laughed and said no.

Here is the view from where my friend works and where I got to watch the game. I was in the end zone all the way at the top. It actually was a really good seat and I was in the shade too!

This was taken way before the game started.

Here is where Cam Newton scored his running touchdown. Pretty awesome. Cam and Steve Smith are nasty together!

The Panthers ended up winning 33-20. I say it's because I was there and brought them good luck! I'm so glad I finally got to go to a game. We have only being trying for the last 2 seasons to get me up there. Hopefully I will get to go to more soon!

I hope your weekend was as fun as mine!

A New Etsy Page..

Recently, my mom decided it was time to start selling all the things she has been making over the years for friends and family.  I suggested she start an Etsy Store to sell all of her "goodies". (Also, it's something to keep her busy during the day and get a good use out of her new sewing room.) Now of course, I am in charge of getting all the items online..

If you don't know my mom, she is very talented and can make (sew) just about anything. Right now she is working on 18" Doll Clothes that will fit the American Girl Doll or any doll that is 18". Mom has 4 granddaughters and they all have an American Girl Doll so buying outfits for their dolls can get expensive. (I think one outfit at American Girl can run from $25-$35 a piece.)

Here is one of the dresses she has made for the doll. This one is hand smocked so it is going to be a little more than say an outfit:

This is a Christmas Smocked Dress

I just love this bath robe and night gown!

She also has personalized burp clothes and bibs available.

Burp Cloth and Bib that can be personalized

Of course I have to throw in a picture of our Clemson items too!!

If any of y'all live close to us in Spartanburg, she can monogram anything for you too.

I am currently putting new items on daily as she makes them and as I get pictures taken of each item. Keep checking back to see what we have. Also, if there is something specific you are looking for, just send me a message. I am sure we can figure something out!

If for some reason the link to her page doesn't work, the name of her store on Etsy is "Sophie's Design Choice".

A weekend to go down in the books..

Well, we all survived the weekend in Charleston for Hollie's Bachelorette.

Well, sort of. I don't think we all felt very great Saturday or Sunday morning.

We started the night with drinking wine out of these glasses in the hotel room:
Personally made by Me

Hollie then opened her presents from all of us. More like presents for the Groom.

Then Friday night's first bad decision happened:
The whole group with Oyster Shots

The second bad decision of the night and probably the worst:
via
An Everclear slushy from Wet Willies. Not 1 but 2.. Thanks Jamie for that smart idea!

I did learn something Friday night. Did you know if you stand on your head it will get rid of hiccups?
Betsy could not get rid of her hiccups so she decided to do this in one of the bar's bathrooms. HILARIOUS! (Not pictured, the other 2 pictures of her attempting.)

We ran into many other bachelor parties. Here was a special one.

Gah Hollie, you forgot to wear your air brushed "Bachelorette" shirt out. You could have matched him!

I think we got these shots free from his group:
They were AWFUL!

Now, Saturday night I only have one picture. I guess we were too busy watching CLEMSON give us a heart attack for 3 hours, than to take pictures.
Before the Bachelorette called it a night! :)

Only 1 month to go before the BIG DAY!

HELLO, Charleston!

It is going to be nice to see you again in t-minus 24 hours!

via

The reason for the vacation, might I add my first vacation in a while, is for this girl's bachelorette weekend:

Meet Hollie:
Peace up A-town Charleston!

We probably will be doing a little of this..

Or this...

AND of course, cheering on the TIGERS!!
C L E M S O N   T I G E R S ! ! !

And maybe some normal ones too..

But we definitely won't be doing this all weekend:

How funny is this?? via

Love you girl! I can't wait to celebrate with you and see what trouble fun we get in to!

See y'all next week!!

Tuesday love!

Oh how I love Tuesday's! Why, you ask?

Because at exactly 4:30 pm, I am in this class kicking some serious tail!
via
I definitely don't look like these people, but I'd say I am getting much better! I feel like I could beat someone up if need be, well maybe. Jackie Chan better watch out!

If your gym has these classes, I would go try one. (I also take Group Power 3 times a week.) It is so much better than just lifting weights by yourself at the gym. We all know I would cheat and give up after one rep.

Don't give up after your first class. I almost passed out the first time I took Kick, but that quickly goes away after the first couple times. Ha ha, real funny, I know.

Another reason to love Tuesday:

And

Absolutely CAN NOT miss an episode of Rachel Zoe.  Love her and her occupation! Maybe one day I can do something with fashion. A girl can dream, right?
PS.. since her new season started, I still can't tell she is 8 months prego. Seriously?

And this just started last week on Bravo..

It is about a "thift" store in NYC, I use thift lightly, with designer fashions.  I still can't afford half the stuff in this store but it was fun to watch what these people millionaires have for consignment.

One Room at a Time

On Saturday, (before the Clemson WIN) Mom and I tackled one of the upstairs bedrooms in her house. We added a fresh coat of "Silver Sage" by Restoration Hardware to the walls. If y'all haven't seen this color, check it out. I have it in most of my house. Sometimes it looks blue and other times it's gray.  It's hard to tell in the pictures but it turned out awesome! Mom already had the bedspread to match, fancy that! Now all we need to do is get some pictures hung on the walls and new lamps painted with an accent color. (Don't worry, I won't be using a hammer or nail.)

Before looking at the bathroom door

Before looking at one of the windows

After a  fresh coat of Silver Sage

After

One room down, 4 or 5 oh I don't know how many more to go!

A few birthday's to share..

Happy 9th Birthday James!

Here is James this past July at Mimi and Pap Pap's house.
This past Monday, October 4th, my oldest nephew turned 9. James looks just like his daddy. I call James "mini Adam". I can not believe how time flies and how fast my nieces and nephews are growing up. James is living in Germany while his dad Adam, my oldest brother, is serving in the Air Force.

Happy 8th Birthday Merritt!

Merritt at Mimi and Pap Pap's house this past Christmas.

Today is Merritt's 8th Birthday and the oldest niece in the Graham family. Merritt is the one that definitely looks the most like me out of all the nieces. She is such a sweet little girl! I just wish they all lived closer so we could see them more often!

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'm helping my mother paint one of the bedrooms in her new house tomorrow. Of course she is using the same color I just painted my whole house with a couple of months ago. I will be sure to take before and after pictures to share.

Here are some pictures of things that are making me smile!

Ready for the leaves to change so I can take pictures!

Can you tell I want a golden retriever?
