Thanksgiving Randomness..

Please excuse my randomness in this post. It is a bunch of pictures from the week of Thanksgiving. Heather and her family came in Tuesday and stayed till Saturday morning. Side note, 4 dogs at my parents house. It was a zoo!

I had to get these trees outside of work on camera. I have to say it was a good fall around here with the leaves changing colors.

Lauren kept wanting me to take pictures of her and then she had to look at EACH picture and approve them. That picnic basket kept her entertained all week.

Big brother Andrew and Lauren.. Poor Andrew busted it on his bike the day before and has those lovely scraps to show for.

Big ole turkey that turned out good this year. On going joke with Mom, sorry Mom, that the turkey always comes out dry. NOT THIS YEAR!

My plate of fixins'..

Poor ole Lauren had too much turkey it put her fast asleep at 6:00 pm. I could eat her up!

Miss Lauren, her baby doll and Maggie!

Another picture of Lauren and her picnic. Next day too.. Please note the dolls enjoying the picnic as well. She did all of that.

And we have Lucy.. loved this picture of her. She is the sweetest puppy, I couldn't leave her out of this post!

I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoyed time with their families!

H & M's Wedding.. well the rehearsal actually.

See what happened was... we were soo busy Saturday I forgot to get my camera out of my car and take pictures (and the big ole camera just gets in the way sometimes).
So with that being said, I have pictures from Friday!

On the way to the chapel for the rehearsal!

What a gorgeous soon to be bride!

Awesome cups we had to drink out of!

Groomsmen and Manning walking down for the rehearsal. The chapel was gorgeous!

4 of the bridesmaids: Jamie, Melanie, Stefanie and Betsy.

Hollie coming down the aisle with her Daddy!

A good picture of her hair! It looked so good!
Side note, that sweet bouquet was made by moi!

Concentrating so hard to remember everything!

They couldn't have sparkles at the reception so we did them Friday night instead.

Now I do have 2 pictures that I took on my phone while we were getting ready on Saturday.

Hollie and I.. she was so gorgeous and looked like a pro!

Stefanie and I before the ceremony! She is a fellow Clemson Alumni too!

So happy for Hollie and Manning! I can't wait to come stay in Charlotte, again, in "my guest room" at the new crib!!

 Christmas at Disney World!

My older brother Todd and his wife wanted to take their 2 girls to Disney and asked my parents if they wanted to join. (PS.. the girls don't know. They are going to tell them the night before we go.) Well, as soon I as I heard this, I invited myself! Duh! I didn't get a vacation this year and what a better vacation to take than to go to Disney World with my 2 nieces!

Not only is Christmas my favorite time of the year, but I haven't been to Disney World since I was 8 years old. And let me tell you, I don't remember much. All I know is the Tea Cup ride made me sick... I don't think I will be participating in that ride this time around.

Ready or Not, Here I come Mickey!!!

Thankful Thursday v 2

Well, another Thursday is apon us and another day for me to express how thankful I am..

In that case, I am so very thankful that I have a job. With the economy in the state that it is in and my degree in marketing, there aren't a lot of jobs to come by these days.  If some of you don't know, my parents own 3 Bruster's Ice Cream in Spartanburg, SC. I have been working for them since I was 15. Crazy how fast time goes.

Here we are 11 1/2 years ago right before we opened our first store. Boy do I look young!

Thank goodness we don't wear white anymore. Worst idea ever!

Not only do I get to work with my family, but I get to make my own schedule each and every week. That definitely has it advantages when I have something going on and need to take off.  I also get to work with the young adults and talk to my "regular" customers. I am thankful I can say I like what I do because there a lot of people that do not enjoy their jobs.

Only a week left until Thanksgiving! Must get started on those Thanksgiving Ice Cream Cakes and Pies!

Happy Veteran's Day!

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to those who are serving or have served this country! Thank you for your sacrifice and all that you do.

Of course I can't have this post without mentioning my 2 oldest brothers. I am honored to be able to call you my brothers. I love you both dearly!

Now, I can't leave out my dad because he served in the Army during the Vietnam War. My brothers sure do look like him.. crazy!

Adam is serving in the Air Force in Germany right now.

Heading to pick up a wounded soldier this year.. Amazing what he has been doing the last 5 months.

This was taken when Adam returned from Iraq in 2010.

Todd served in the Air Force and is now in the Reserves in D.C.

This was taken when Todd was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010.

Now y'all go take advantage of all the free food that restraurants are giving away today!

Ciao and thank you,

Thankful Thursday!

With Thanksgiving only 2 weeks away (HOLY COW where did the time go), I find it appropriate to write what I am thankful for every Thursday in November. (So I know I should have started this last Thursday, but I completely forgot to write a post so I will make up for it in this post.)

First, I am so VERY thankful for my Family!

Here are some pictures of my siblings and I from back in the day.. (please take note of the hair and clothes)

This was taken at one of our annual beach trips to Kiwah Island.  It is estimated that I am 3 years old.

Heather, Adam, Moi, Todd and Matt

Here we are at my oldest brother's, Adam, graduation from The Air Force Academy. I believe I was 9 in the picture.
(Love the aviators Todd and Matt)

This is at Todd's graduation from Vanderbilt.

Here is the most recent picture of the Graham siblings..

At my graduation from Clemson in 2007.

Did I say most recent? That is sad because it is from 2007. It is so hard for all 5 of us to be at the same place at the same time AND to manage to take a picture together. (Maybe someone has a recent picture of all of us together and is keeping it from me.)

 Love y'all soo much!!

And moving right along, I wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for my wonderful parents!  They are loving, caring, thoughtful, amazing, providing, generous, so VERY talented, hard working, a wonderful cook, and I think this list could go on for days. THANK YOU Mom and Dad for all that you do for me! I love you!

Monograms and Mimosa's!

This past Sunday we hosted a Monogram and Mimosa's shower at my parents house. Everything turned out wonderful and everyone had a great time. Thanks for the bridesmaids for helping my mom and I put this on for Hollie.  Here are some pictures from the shower (of course I forgot to take some of the decorations):

Yummy cupcakes created by moi!

A monogrammed tissue box cover!

Fun tray with Hollie's new initials!

Awesome gift!

This was one of my favorite gifts Hollie got!

My flower creation Hollie wore.

10 days and counting...
