Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day today!  I have been working on some crafts for the house over the past couple of weeks that I wanted to share with you.

Strawberry marshmellows make a cheap decoration!

Found this idea on a blog. So easy too!

Here is where I found how to make this.

Nothing says Valentine's without candy hearts! I found the hurricanes at the Dollar Tree!

I made this Valentine's topiary last year with my mom. I got the base at Hobby Lobby. (Ignore me in the mirror in my pjs.)

Love this wreath and so easy to make too! Very girlie!

Here is the wreath on my back door. The heart can be removed and replaced with something else for any holiday. I purchased everything at Hobby Lobby.

Find the directions to make the wreath here.

Photo Challenge Update {1}

Day 2: Words.
This came from the pretzel box at work..

Day 3: Hands..
The bf was gracious enough to be my model.

Day 4: Stranger
Well, I failed at this one big time. I couldn't get the courage to take a picture of someone random. Here is the best I could do. (They are strangers to each other since they don't live together anymore.)

Day 5: 10 am
These chocolate chip muffins were coming out of the oven.

Day 6: Dinner
A lovely skillet dinner of pasta, chicken and vegetables.

Day 7: Button
Here is a sneak peak of one of the Valentine crafts I did last week. (Post to come.)

Day 8: Sun
Outside of work. The sun always puts me in a good mood.

Tto be continued...

Happy 6th Birthday Noah!

I just wanted to wish my nephew, Noah, a very Happy Birthday!   (I know this is a day late but for some reason my blog wouldn't let me upload pictures yesterday.)

I woke up to a text message one morning of Noah asking me to buy this car for him..

Noah skiing with Daddy in Austria this Christmas! He looks better than me at skiing... (must work on that)

He even won an award! Go Noah!

Pictures courtesy of his father's facebook page. Thanks Adam!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Sorry for my absence from the blog.. I don't know where the time goes but I just realized I haven't posted anything in a while.  Sometimes I think my brain is out in left field.

Anywho, on to what I am loving this week!

I ordered this vest last week and have worn it every day that the weather has allowed me to! It is the North Face White Down Vest. It is so comfortable and keeps me warm.

I just finished this book on my kindle. My sister recommended this author who is from Atlanta. It's a quick read and I will definitely be reading more from her!

White Collar started it's new season last night! I don't if y'all have seen this show but it is a much watch. Well, a must watch because the main character, Matt Bomer, who plays Neal, is extremely good looking..aka HOT and a con artist. Those blue eyes get me every time!

I'm loving these new Nike Dual Fusion shoes I got for work this past weekend. I haven't been a huge fan of Nike until recently. So far they are extremely comfortable and were very reasonable for Nike's. My other pair I recommend are the Nike Free's. I wear those to the gym and they feel like you don't have anything on. A new pair of those will be purchased in the very near future.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday! Hopefully it won't be another 2 weeks before I blog again!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I can't believe the holidays have come and gone already. One year I just wish they would go by so slow. I think as I get older, the time is only going to go that much faster.

First thing I am loving this new year is this baby!

My awesome brothers, sister and parents got me this killer grill for Christmas!  I have only cooked a steak on it and of course I forgot to take a picture of it.  I plan to grill some hamburgers for the big game tonight.

Speaking of tonight, I'm still loving those Tigers! Congrats Dabo on winning the Coach of the Year Award!
Don't forget to watch them in the Orange Bowl!

My sister got me a new Clemson sweatshirt too. (I'm probably supposed to pay her for that. Shh!)  I now have completed this collection of Clemson sweatshirts. And yes, I am very proud! Honestly though, they are the most comfortable.

Santa Claus surprised me with this awesome necklace. Santa must have known I like Kelly Ripa since this is the one she wears a lot. I haven't taken it off since I got it! It goes with everything. Sissy got one too (copycat).

Purchase here

Each year for the past couple of years I have gotten a new watch. Why you ask? Because I like watches. Here is this years watch!

And just for giggles, here is last years watch, which I still wear all the time.

Something totally random, but I found this blog on pinterest yesterday, The CoffeeShop Blog.  It is my new favorite! I got Photoshop for my birthday last year and haven't figured out how to use it yet. Well, look no more. This blog has come to my rescue! She has free storyboards and tutorials with Photoshop that actually make sense or at least they do to me.

Here is what I did last night while watching football.

Have a Happy Wednesday! and GO TIGERS!!

Ben's Story

If you haven't seen this video, take a minute and watch it.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
