Thankful Thursday v 2

Well, another Thursday is apon us and another day for me to express how thankful I am..

In that case, I am so very thankful that I have a job. With the economy in the state that it is in and my degree in marketing, there aren't a lot of jobs to come by these days.  If some of you don't know, my parents own 3 Bruster's Ice Cream in Spartanburg, SC. I have been working for them since I was 15. Crazy how fast time goes.

Here we are 11 1/2 years ago right before we opened our first store. Boy do I look young!

Thank goodness we don't wear white anymore. Worst idea ever!

Not only do I get to work with my family, but I get to make my own schedule each and every week. That definitely has it advantages when I have something going on and need to take off.  I also get to work with the young adults and talk to my "regular" customers. I am thankful I can say I like what I do because there a lot of people that do not enjoy their jobs.

Only a week left until Thanksgiving! Must get started on those Thanksgiving Ice Cream Cakes and Pies!

Happy Veteran's Day!

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to those who are serving or have served this country! Thank you for your sacrifice and all that you do.

Of course I can't have this post without mentioning my 2 oldest brothers. I am honored to be able to call you my brothers. I love you both dearly!

Now, I can't leave out my dad because he served in the Army during the Vietnam War. My brothers sure do look like him.. crazy!

Adam is serving in the Air Force in Germany right now.

Heading to pick up a wounded soldier this year.. Amazing what he has been doing the last 5 months.

This was taken when Adam returned from Iraq in 2010.

Todd served in the Air Force and is now in the Reserves in D.C.

This was taken when Todd was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010.

Now y'all go take advantage of all the free food that restraurants are giving away today!

Ciao and thank you,
Aunt Lindsay

Thankful Thursday!

With Thanksgiving only 2 weeks away (HOLY COW where did the time go), I find it appropriate to write what I am thankful for every Thursday in November. (So I know I should have started this last Thursday, but I completely forgot to write a post so I will make up for it in this post.)

First, I am so VERY thankful for my Family!

Here are some pictures of my siblings and I from back in the day.. (please take note of the hair and clothes)

This was taken at one of our annual beach trips to Kiwah Island.  It is estimated that I am 3 years old.

Here we are at my oldest brother's, Adam, graduation from The Air Force Academy. I believe I was 9 in the picture.
(Love the aviators Todd and Matt)

This is at Todd's graduation from Vanderbilt.

Here is the most recent picture of the Graham siblings..

At my graduation from Clemson in 2007.

Did I say most recent? That is sad because it is from 2007. It is so hard for all 5 of us to be at the same place at the same time AND to manage to take a picture together. (Maybe someone has a recent picture of all of us together and is keeping it from me.)

 Love y'all soo much!!

And moving right along, I wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for my wonderful parents!  They are loving, caring, thoughtful, amazing, providing, generous, so VERY talented, hard working, a wonderful cook, and I think this list could go on for days. THANK YOU Mom and Dad for all that you do for me! I love you!

Monograms and Mimosa's!

This past Sunday we hosted a Monogram and Mimosa's shower at my parents house. Everything turned out wonderful and everyone had a great time. Thanks for the bridesmaids for helping my mom and I put this on for Hollie.  Here are some pictures from the shower (of course I forgot to take some of the decorations):

Yummy cupcakes created by moi!

A monogrammed tissue box cover!

Fun tray with Hollie's new initials!

Awesome gift!

This was one of my favorite gifts Hollie got!

My flower creation Hollie wore.

10 days and counting...
